Building Committee Formed to Explore Cathedral Hall Options

Dear Cathedral Parish Family,

I am pleased to share that I have formed a Building Committee to begin exploring future possibilities for the Cathedral Hall building. I am grateful to the following individuals who have said yes to serving on this committee: Jay Coatney, Chair, Tami Hartmann, Jayne Gallegos, Mary Hanneman, Jeffrey Hubrig, Jerry Bodie, Patti Gibson, Mary Mac Wilson (COO), Deacon Walt Otey (CFO), Scott Barron (Director of Parish Ministries), and Tom Greer (Director of Facilities).

This committee will thoughtfully assess the space’s current condition and potential, considering how it might best serve the needs of our parish and community in the years to come. Their work will include gathering input, evaluating options, and presenting recommendations to parish leadership. Our first step in the process will be to submit a Request for Proposal (RFP) to architects to help guide us.

We are committed to prayer, transparency, and collaboration, and we will keep you updated as the committee’s work progresses. In the coming months, there will be opportunities for you to share your thoughts and ideas—your voice is an important part of this journey.

Thank you for your continued support and prayers as we take these first steps together.

In Christ’s peace,

Father David
