WATCH: Miss a week, Miss a lot
Dozens of excavators, dump trucks, bulldozers, compactors have taken over the Sacred Heart campus this summer. The first week of July was no exception.
The Cathedral School renovation is fully underway with the re-design of bathrooms, classrooms, administrative offices and a new school entrance with access from Erin Drive. Cathedral construction site work continues with grading, installation of storm sewers, finishing the demolition of the rectory and garages, and the building of a new retaining wall between the Cathedral and the Chancery. In the coming weeks, a new stone wall will be constructed between People’s Bank and the Cathedral offices and the Sanders Medical Building on top of the hill above the offices will be razed to utilize the fill dirt on the property.
