We are excited to announce the forthcoming Ordination and Installation of Bishop-Elect Mark Beckman,
and we cordially invite you to audition for this esteemed event’s special Ordination Choir (Youth & Adult). This is a unique opportunity to be part of a momentous occasion and contribute your voice to a memorable and reverent celebration.
Who Can Audition:
We welcome singers (Youth and Adult) of all voice types with choral experience, ability to read music, and able to perform in a variety of musical styles. We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic, committed, and ready to contribute to a heartfelt and inspiring musical experience. We also encourage you to share this invitation with other talented singers who might be interested in participating.
What to Prepare:
Please prepare the following for the audition:
- A sacred hymn, spiritual song, or classical piece of your choice that highlights your vocal range and technical ability. (Please bring two extra copies of your selection)
- Demonstrate sight-reading ability (we will provide an example at the audition).
Note: (An accompanist will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.)
