Please join us for a fun night of inspirational speakers and great food and drink. If you are unable to attend, we would value a donation.
To our longtime friends, partners, and parishioners, our next fundraiser to support the Haiti mission is set for 6:30 p.m. on Friday, October 7, in the Cathedral Hall at the Cathedral of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus in Knoxville. We ask that this year, in particular, you attend and help us make a difference and bring a positive outlook back to our brothers and sisters in Haiti, now and in the future. If you cannot attend, we hope you can offer any level of financial support through the form below.
It will be a fun-filled and inspiring evening with cocktails, heavy appetizers, and a slate of incredible speakers, “Celebrating the Beauty of Haiti and the Legacy of Dr. Paul Farmer.”
Loune Viaud, Managing Director at Partners in Health in Haiti and a recipient of the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award, is the guest of honor and keynote speaker. Other speakers include Dr. Junior Bazile, former Director of Health in Boucan Carré, and our own Dr. Jordan Pyda, MD, who will share his experience traveling to Haiti as a Catholic High School student and how it influenced his life and journey into the medical profession.
Volunteers are needed! For questions or to give of your time and talent, please reach out directly to Mr. Bob Grimac at [email protected] or call at 865-936-0081
